Emerald Administration Officer

About the role

DGH have an exciting job opportunity in our Emerald office!

This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. Working in a small team, you will report to the Area Manager and support the day to day operation of the Emerald office. To be considered for this role candidates will be required to have previous experience in a similar role.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Answer the phone and greet customers.
  • Data entry/updating registers/compliance.
  • Timesheets
  • Raise and issue purchase orders.
  • Assist HR with onboarding/inductions.
  • Assist HR with booking medicals/training etc.
  • Invoicing

To be successful the following attributes are desired:

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment 
  • Professional communication skills 
  • Strong computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Suite
  • Motivated, organised and thorough, with attention to detail
  • Adaptable, flexible with excellent time management skills to meet demanding timeframes
  • Strong work ethic and demonstrated record of reliability and punctuality
  • 2 years experience in an administration environment
